Michelle Estrada has been a performing artist since the age of 7. Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, she has been seen in local theatrical productions, cabarets, and drag shows. Some of her favorite roles include Nina in IN THE HEIGHTS (dir. David Green), Dipsas in LYSISTRATA (dir. Rufus Bonds Jr.), and Susan in VINEGAR TOM (dir. Saundra McClain). Michelle Estrada received her BFA in Acting from Cal State Fullerton in 2020. Since then, she has starred in an Indie Film, Carmelita Park (dir. Caity Peterson), as well as lead in musical theatre productions including Hodel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF(dir. Josh Carr and Ray Limon), and Nicola/Referee in KINKY BOOTS (dir. Lance Phillips). She has created her own act at BarOneEleven as Leslie Gore where she dresses as a drag version of the 1960’s icon and sings her hit songs, and since has done two of Judy Garland’s Specials hosted by local drag celebrity, Vanity Halston. 

Along with her performing career, Michelle Estrada is passionate about being an activist within the community of the Coachella Valley. She is seen at many local events fighting for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. She was the first person at Shadow Hills High School to build the GSA as well as become the Vice President of the club, securing Safe Schools as a sponsor which helped students of low income families be able to attend Pride Prom. She also attends many local events with her sister, Stephanie, who has Down Syndrome. She recently escorted her the Desert Special Stars Gala in Rancho Mirage. One day, Michelle hopes to build a theatre program for people with special needs.
